Alexis Bittar was crowned Accessories Designer of the Year in 2010 by the prestigious CFDA, and from the looks of what his collection has to offer I can say that it was well deserved. Le Creuset Enameled Cookware

I’ve been wanting to invest in some high quality, cast iron pots, which are supposedly the best kind of cookware for long, even slow cooking. Le Creuset is the first brand that came to mind. They have been making their cast iron, enamled cookware in France since 1925. I don’t have any pieces from them only because they can be quite a pricey investment but I found some really great deals online. Check them out below:

April Showers Bring Rainboots

With the sudden onslaught of storms hitting Southern California, I wouldn’t mind having a pair of rainboots to keep me dry. My pet peeve is wet shoes and socks, and this rain is the perfect excuse to finally buy a pair of rainboots! There are tons of super cute rainboots to choose from online. It almost makes me wish it rained more here in L.A…almost! Check them out below:

I’m in love with this pair of Tsunami Rain Boots from Steve Madden, $40.00. They could almost pass as real boots with their moto-details and trim.

Planet Blue is perfect for anyone who loves casual clothing with a Californian attitude. I love the comfortable, beachy atmosphere of their stores, and they do a good job of translating that feeling onto their website. The first Planet Blue store opened in Malibu, California and now their website carries all of it’s signature laid-back clothing and accessories for anyone, anywhere, not just California. Have you heard of Topshop? It’s one of the hottest UK retailers out there right now. Known for it’s affordable prices as well as fashions that are always way ahead of the game, Topshop has captured American hearts as well with their first U.S. location opening up in Manhattan in 2008. Here we’re focusing on the always popular bohemian trend. Topshop has tons of ways to style yourself into a boho-chic cutie this Spring. Need some styling tips?

Think Hello Kitty is just for the kiddies? Think again. The kitty cat with the signature red bow that we have all grown up with is now all grown up herself! I’ve found a ton of great Hello Kitty products that are perfect for showing some playfulness in your every day life.

Take for example the Hello Kitty perfume, $55.00, now available at Sephora. Specially for the “young at heart”, this fragrance features notes of Cassis Sorbet, Italian Mandarin, Apple, Magnolia Blossom, Freesia, Orange Flower, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Musk. Sounds delicious doesn’t it? And comes in a lovely clear pink Hello Kitty spray bottle. Very sophisticated!

And I fell in love with this adorable Hello Kitty Leopard print watch, $45.00. The leopard band adds the right amount of adult to the very playful Hello Kitty faceplate. This would be perfect for my cousin who loves Hello Kitty but has outgrown the kiddie stuff!
